Marbella Rentals Market Still Offering A Great Return

tw-encinas-arqueros-costa-del-solThe real estate markets have taken a bashing over the last couple of years due to the recession and although things are still not as they were, there are still areas of the Costa del Sol property market which still remain great value and provide excellent return on investment.

Marbella is the jewel in the Costa del Sol’s crown. A haven for holidaymakers and property developers over the last 30 years or so, the area still represents brilliant value when it comes to investing in real estate.

Although the sales market is somewhat quiet at the moment due to the recession, the holiday and long term rentals markets or “alquileres en Costa del Sol España” by the Spanish, are still strong and as an investor, these still represent great value.

Long term rentals have become popular due to high sales prices and a lack of lending by the banks. Many prospective buyers are now renting long term in anticipation of the sales market returning to “normal” in the not too distant future.

The short term vacation market is also still strong even though holidaymaker numbers have seen a slight drop over the past couple of years. Marbella itself, is still a very popular town when it comes to short term renting. What with the designer shops, bars, restaurants and miles of sandy beaches, its easy to see why this part of the world to a degree, has resisted the recession.

So if you are looking for a good investment return and can find the 30% deposit and the fees that are involved, Marbella may just be the investment location for you.
